A few weeks ago marked a standout moment for Simia Marine - winning the WMBRC Points Championship, taking both the overall title and the race day win. It was a fantastic day on the water, filled with close racing, great sportsmanship, and the kind of adrenaline that reminds me why I love this sport.

From the first flag drop, the competition was fierce and it was great to see new faces joining the racing scene. Seeing so many boats out there, all pushing hard and enjoying the competition, speaks volumes about the strength and spirit of the community that keeps powerboat racing alive.

Across the season, consistent performances led to several possible 1st place contenders, building up to an unforgettable championship finale. Days like this are not just about results - they’re about connection, passion, and the teamwork that defines both racing and boatbuilding at Simia Marine.

A huge thank you goes to the WMBRC members and supporters who dedicate their time and effort to make events like this possible. From race officials and safety crews to the volunteers behind the scenes, their commitment is what keeps the sport moving forward.

Winning the championship is something I’m incredibly proud of, and it’s a reflection of the same values we bring to our work at Simia Marine every day - precision, performance, and partnership. We look forward to carrying that energy into the next chapter, both on the water and in the workshop.

Special thanks to Parsun Outboards UK for providing a reliable and high performing outboard. I have really enjoyed racing with this engine.
